Desne is one of nine villages of the Municipality of Kula Norinska, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, of Croatia's Dalmatian coast.

Dubrovnik, historically known as Ragusa, is a city on the Adriatic Sea in the region of Dalmatia, in southern Croatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea, a seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
