Tiger and Turtle - Magic Mountain is an art installation and landmark in Duisburg, Germany, built in 2011.

Duisburg is a city in the Ruhr metropolitan area of the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Lying on the confluence of the Rhine and the Ruhr rivers in the center of the Rhine-Ruhr Region, Duisburg is one of the largest cities in North Rhine-Westphalia and the 15th-largest city in Germany.

The story

Wow, it has been almost three years since I last used the LomoChrome Metropolis film simulation recipe! I programmed it into the X-S10 and went to the Tiger & Turtle roller coaster and the city of Duisburg for some gloomy, grungy, overcast shots.

The story

A new month, a new city. This time, I visited the city of Leverkusen. Not very much to do, so it was a pretty disappointing day. Better luck next time!

The story

Day two in Dortmund – this time with some proper urbexing: exploring an abandoned steel factory and its surroundings. Even got a tour through the building by some graffiti artists who were just wrapping up!
